Capital Read 2008

Missouri River Regional Library

An Absolute Gentleman was selected, by community and regional vote, as the novel for Jefferson City's 3rd annual community read program. Events through the month of October related to the book in some manner, e.g. a presentation by Dr. Eugene Matthews, behavioral sciences professor, on the mind of a serial killer; screening of the film Peeping Tom, a presentation on wildlife behavior (character Arthur Blume was a close observer of animal life) by Runge Nature Center, book discussions, readings, and receptions and book signings.
